Bio:
Three-year starter who was awarded the 2014 Southland Conference Newcomer of the Year Award after transferring from UTSA. Was a three-time All-Southland Honorable Mention performer. Received an invite to the College Gridiron Showcase All-Star Event after his senior season. Finished his career with 611 completions on 1,067 attempts for 6,867 yards, 46 touchdowns and 24 interceptions. Also ran the ball 405 times for 1,602 yards and 34 touchdowns.
Pos:
Nice-sized pocket passer with an erratic game. Sells ball fakes, shows patience and remains poised under the rush. Displays a nice sense for what’s happening, doesn’t make bad decisions under the rush and spreads the ball around to all of his receivers. Keeps his eyes downfield, puts air under deep passes and throws solid corner routes.
Neg:
Immobile and not a threat running the ball. Doesn’t possess a big-time arm or show the ability to power passes into targets. Inaccurate and has wide-open receivers adjusting to the ball.
Analysis:
Conque possesses next-level size but lacks the arm strength and accuracy to be anything other than roster fodder.
