Three-year starter named Second Team All-SEC in 2016. Started his final two seasons at left tackle after playing right tackle as a sophomore in 2014 and splitting time between guard and tackle as a redshirt freshman. Finished his Vanderbilt career having made 37 consecutive starts.
Workman-like offensive lineman with excellent size. Displays great vision, sees the blitz and makes great use of body positioning and angles to seal defenders from the play. Keeps his feet moving, stays square and shows explosiveness at the point. Stands out in pass protection, shows the ability to slide laterally and covers a good amount of ground. Always looking for someone to hit, keeps his head on a swivel and plays with a nasty attitude.
Does not sink his butt at the line of scrimmage and gets tall on occasion. Overextends into blocks and bends at the waist. Does not finish run blocks.
Holden offers size and growth potential as well as a good feel for the offensive tackle position and possesses all the underlying tools necessary to develop into a starter on Sundays.
