Pos:
Former Delaware running back who transferred to Slippery Rock this season and turned in a terrific campaign. Strong, sized well and consistently runs north/south. Displays terrific vision, effectively follows blocks and consistently finds running lanes. Immediately gets to top speed and rarely gets brought down by the first defender. Breaks multiple tackles and falls forward when tackled. Works hard to avoid defenders and piles, displays good short-area quickness and consistently keeps the play in bounds. Adequate receiver out of the backfield.
Neg:
Displays average quickness and minimal burst. Loses a lot of momentum when he changes direction. Runs with an upright style.
Analysis:
Hills took his game to another level last season, and his production was off the charts at times. He's a downhill ball carrier with next-level size but must learn to run behind his pads and improve his pass catching to make it out of camp this summer.
