Three-year starter who earned Second Team All-ACC honors as a junior after rushing for 1,133 yards and 17 touchdowns, the latter of which tied the Clemson single-season record. Named First Team All-ACC in 2015 after setting a new school rushing record with 1,527 yards and scoring 13 touchdowns on the ground. Rushed for 3,429 yards and 34 touchdowns in his three-year career and caught 65 passes for 473 yards and two scores.
Productive college ball carrier with nice size who is best between the tackles. Patiently waits for blocks to develop, finds running lanes and quickly turns upfield. Runs north/south, plays with an aggressive style and drives his shoulders through defenders. Strong, breaks tackles and moves the pile. Falls forward for extra yardage. Solid pass catcher who adjusts to the errant throw and pulls the ball from the air with his hands. Effectively gets out front and blocks when necessary.
Not a true perimeter runner and lacks the speed to turn the corner. Struggles avoiding piles or defenders and isn’t a creative running back. Lacks quick and fluid change of direction.
Gallman was a terrific college player who helped Clemson to a national championship but is primarily a downhill runner with an upright style which usually does not work on Sundays.
