Outside linebacker
School: Boston College | Conference: ACC
HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 6-0 / 235 | 40: 4.77 | DRAFT YR:2018

Projected Round
Three-year starter who led Boston College with 107 tackles (8.5 for loss) and added four sacks and two interceptions to earn Second Team All-ACC honors in 2017. Made 61 tackles (5.5 for loss) with one sack and one interception as a junior. Started six games and posted 15 tackles in 2015.
Incredibly productive linebacker with an underrated game. Instinctive, quickly locates the action and plays with an all-out mentality. Fierce, sacrifices his body to take on blockers and flies around the ball to make tackles. Quick, plays with excellent speed and explodes to the play. Uses his hands to protect himself, recognizes assignments in coverage and gets depth on pass drops. Relatively quick flipping his hips to transition with opponents in coverage. Plays intelligent football and does a good job getting teammates in proper position.
Lacks great measurables. Slow getting through the trash. Lack of height will result in mismatches.
Schwab does not pass the eyeball test, but on film he looks like a legitimate next-level linebacker. He comes with a special-teams mentality, and along with the intensity he plays with and his football intelligence, Schwab could find his way onto a roster as an eighth linebacker.
