His 1,803 receiving yards on 136 receptions as a senior led the conference, and he caught 12 touchdowns. Caught 99 passes for 1,282 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior. Quick, explosive slot receiver who can double as a return specialist. Fluid releasing off the line of scrimmage, immediately gets to top speed and runs outstanding routes. Fires into breaks, quickly exits pass routes and stays low, positioning himself to make the reception. Possesses outstanding hand-eye coordination, consistently makes the reception away from his frame and adjusts to grab the errant pass from the air. Immediately turns upfield after the catch, displays run-after-catch ability and has a burst which he turns on in a single step. Plays bigger than his listed size, extends in a crowd and makes a lot of difficult receptions. Plays with great awareness and toughness.
Small and will struggle handling jams at the next level. Short and may be tough to find on the field. More of a one-speed receiver who lacks breakaway speed.
Taylor is a smart, tough and resilient receiver who will do well lining up in the slot, being used on receiver screen passes and as a return specialist at the next level.
