Bio:
Three-year starter who made 55 tackles (four for loss) with one interception, two sacks, one forced fumble and three pass breakups in 2017 to earn an invitation to the Senior Bowl. Named Honorable Mention All-Mountain West and recorded 90 tackles (10.5 for loss), three interceptions, two sacks and a team-high seven PBUs as a junior. Played two games in 2015 before suffering a season-ending knee injury. Tied for the team lead with two INTs and posted 63 tackles (three for loss) and one sack as a sophomore. Started two games as a true freshman and led Hawaii with three interceptions while making 26 tackles and breaking up three passes.
Pos:
Nice-sized safety who flashes ability. Fluid and smooth moving in every direction and effectively reads the action. Stays with assignments, shows a quick closing burst and nicely redirects to the action. Fluid flipping his hips, effective in zone coverage and gives effort against the run.
Neg:
Likes to make his first move up the field, which causes inefficiency. Average speed. Struggles in deep center field.
Analysis:
Henderson showed flashes of ability the past two seasons and may have a home in a zone system if he plays well on special teams.
