Pos:
Short but explosive defensive line prospect who gets the most from his ability. Plays with proper lean, fires off the snap with a terrific first step and gets a lot of momentum going up the field. Fluid changing direction, effectively uses his hands to protect himself and keeps his feet moving. Gets down the line and outside the box, chases the action hard and does not take downs off.
Neg:
Easily turned from the action by a single defender. First-step lineman who cannot get off blocks.
Analysis:
Richardson has size limitations, but his quickness off the snap, ability to change direction and fluidity moving to every area of the field gives him a chance to make a roster as a three-technique tackle.
