Bio:
Three-year starter who led South Carolina in tackles in each of his four seasons with the team. Earned First Team All-SEC honors and tied for the team lead with three interceptions while making 93 tackles (eight for loss) with two sacks as a senior. Redshirted the 2016 season after undergoing surgery on a herniated disk in his neck. Named Second Team All-SEC and led the team with four interceptions and three forced fumbles in 2015, posting 111 tackles (6.5 for loss) and two sacks. Recorded 93 tackles (2.5 for loss), three interceptions and one sack as a sophomore. Led the Gamecock with four interceptions and made 56 tackles (3.5 for loss) as a true freshman.
Pos:
Athletic but undersized linebacker who makes plays sideline to sideline. Gets depth on pass drops, quickly changes direction and alters his angle of attack and covers a good amount of area on the field. Breaks down well and uses his hands to protect himself. Quick and has an explosive closing burst. Fires up the field to defend the run and nicely redirects to the ball carrier. Effectively makes the defensive calls.
Neg:
Not a strong open-field tackler. Easily blocked from the action. Has an injury history that must be checked out.
Analysis:
Moore is a run-and-chase linebacker who is best as a one-gap defender. He would be an asset on special teams, and Moore could be a steal as an undrafted free agent if he gets a clean bill of health.
