Scouting the Pac-12 - UCLA

The Bruins enter the 2018 season with a brand new coach and without two talented juniors, both of whom were swiped up during the initial 15 picks of the 2018 NFL Draft. The immediate outlook for next-level talent from UCLA is not good.

I like what I see from senior cornerback Nathan Meadors. He offers decent size and solid ball skills. I like his awareness and the way Meadors works to get his head around and locate the pass. Deep speed may be a concern but if all works out, I could see Meadors working into the late rounds.

Caleb Wilson is an athletic pass-catching tight end who splits the seam and creates mismatches in the middle of the field. He catches the ball relatively well, but I fear he comes with limited upside.
