The post-Mark Mangino era has been disastrous for Kansas, as it hasn't won four games in a season since 2009. During that span the program had seven players drafted with no Jayhawk selected in 2017.

The only Jayhawk that receives a draftable grade on our board is Dorance Armstrong Jr., who’s been mentioned recently with comparisons being made to Haason Reddick.

From my point of view there is no comparison between the two players as Armstrong’s explosion, suddenness and playmaking ability are fractional compared to Reddick.

Armstrong flashes athleticism and pass-rush skill but the junior lacks bulk and strength and cannot shed blocks, something Reddick did with regularity.

Armstrong comes with an upside but must really step up his game.
