Scouting the AAC: Cincinnati

Cincinnati is a program under new management after Tommy Tuberville was shown the door at the conclusion of 2016. This year’s Cincinnati roster is not completely bare of prospects and offers a few potential next-level players.

We stamped receiver Devin Gray with a sixth-round grade, and the senior is well thought of in the scouting community. Gray is a solid athlete who plays fast and catches the ball well. Though he does not stand out in any aspect of the position, Gray is reliable and could catch on as a fourth receiver in the NFL.

The quarterback position for the Bearcats has been a turnstile the past two seasons, but I believe Hayden Moore has next-level potential. He’s a nifty signal caller with an accurate arm but is a prospect who must take his game to the next level. I presently grade Moore as a free-agent prospect.

Cornerback Linden Stephens offers nice size and effective ball skills facing the action but is a defensive back who must learn to make plays with his back to the ball.
