Bio:
Two-year starter who began his Utah career as a defensive tackle before moving to the offensive line as a sophomore. Made 11 starts at right tackle in 2016 and 13 at left tackle in 2015.
Pos:
Underrated tackle prospect with size and growth potential. Explosive at the point, blocks with a nasty attitude and is effective both on the line of scrimmage and in motion. Quick out to the second level, keeps his head on a swivel and always looks for someone to hit. Sets with a wide base, gets his hands into defenders and steers them from the action. Plays big football and gets movement run blocking.
Neg:
Must do a better job bending his knees and blocking with proper pad level. Struggles handling speedy edge rushers.
Analysis:
Tevi showed consistent progress in his game the past two seasons and is a right tackle prospect who could be used in a zone-blocking scheme. A last-day pick, Tevi could be a surprise starter at the next level if he improves his strength at the point.
