Bio:
Two-year starter named Third Team All-Big Ten as a senior after finishing second on the team with 6.5 tackles for loss and third with 76 tackles despite missing three games with a shoulder injury. Earned Second Team All-Big Ten as a junior, posting 106 tackles (7.5 for loss) with two forced fumbles. Moved to linebacker after spending freshman season at fullback.
Pos:
Athletic college linebacker who displays himself as one-dimensional on the field. Quick-footed and fast moving in every direction and flows well to the play. Breaks down well, uses his hands to protect himself and wraps up tackling. Effective when he remains disciplined in coverage and does a solid job diagnosing the action. Sells out to make plays and gives effort.
Neg:
Handled by tight ends and gets run over by ball carriers. Does not play to his 40 time or show great lateral pursuit speed. Inefficient, does not take correct angles and overpursues the action.
Analysis:
Bullough possesses solid size and speed yet shows limitations in coverage and does not play to his computer numbers. He offers the skill and bloodlines to play at the next level but must improve every area of his game to make it out of camp this summer.
