Bio:
Two-year starter who led USC in sacks in each of those seasons. Earned First Team All-Pac-12 honors and posted a team-high 12.5 tackles for loss and 10 sacks while adding 43 tackles and one forced fumble as a junior. Named Honorable Mention All-Pac-12 and tied for the team lead with two forced fumbles in 2016, adding 55 tackles (6.5 for loss) and six sacks. Posted 19 tackles and 0.5 sacks as a true freshman.
Pos:
Incredibly athletic defensive line prospect with huge upside. Plays to his athletic numbers and displays good change of direction and the ability to immediately alter his angle of attack. Flows well laterally to the action, can bend off the edge and plays with both balance and body control. Focused on by opponents, fires off the snap with a quick first step and keeps his feet moving.
Neg:
Lacks bulk and strength at the point. Easily controlled by a single blocker. Tends to creep up in his stance as the play progresses. Struggles against the run.
Analysis:
Green is an athletic defensive line prospect who plays with an explosive style and offers possibilities as a three-technique tackle or two-gap end. He comes with incredible upside but must physically mature and improve his playing strength to have an impact at the next level.
