Bio:
First-year starter who earned Second Team All-ACC honors as a specialist after returning two punts for touchdowns and posting 777 total return yards as a junior. Caught 17 passes for 186 yards and rushed for 251 yards on 36 carries on his way to being named Honorable Mention All-ACC as an all-purpose player. Named First Team All-America as an all-purpose player in 2016 after leading the nation with 1,166 combined return yards and three kick return touchdowns and adding a punt return TD. Carried 60 times for 631 yards and five scores and made 26 receptions for 286 yards and one touchdown. Returned one kick for a score as a true freshman.
Pos:
Multi-talented skill position player most dangerous as a return specialist. Displays tremendous quickness, shows burst and can beat defenders into the open field. Dangerous in space, immediately gets to top speed and easily changes direction. Finds open lanes as a returner.
Neg:
Average production as a pass catcher. Small and has ball-security issues. Not a good route-runner and really does snatch the ball from the air.
Analysis:
Henderson is an explosive athlete with elite speed. He’s a hybrid skill player who could line up all over the field but must produce as a return specialist to make an NFL roster.
