C-USA: Florida Atlantic vs. North Texas

ESPN2 -- 12 p.m. EST

FAU and North Texas, both nine-win teams, are vying for what would be each of their first Conference USA titles. FAU is Lane Kiffin-crazy while UNT has one of the better sleeper prospects at running back. There are no real head-to-head matchups in this contest, rather a number of skill prospects to keep an eye on.

Jeff Wilson is the top-rated prospect in this game, and the Mean Green running back was mentioned in our Week 3 Risers & Sliders column. The shifty ball carrier finds ways to create yardage and is always on the positive side of the line of scrimmage. He’s a mid-round choice who projects well as a situational ball carrier.

Gregory Howell of FAU is bigger and a little sturdier at the point of attack. He’s not really fast but does a good jump picking up the tough yardage. Howell could slide into the draft’s very late rounds.

I’ve always liked receiver Kalib Woods, and even if the FAU prospect is not selected in the draft I feel he’ll make a depth chart at the next level -- assuming he grows up.

Woods is tall, smooth and sure-handed but also has off the field issues which included a well-documented arrest last June.
