Wisconsin vs. Ohio State

FOX -- 8 p.m. EST

Wisconsin looks to solidify an invitation to the college football playoffs with a win, but Ohio State has a major edge in next-level talent. The Buckeyes enter the game with nine potential top-100 selections, and all but one can be found on the defensive side of the ball.

Ohio State must stop true freshman running back Jonathan Taylor, who’s receiving a large amount of Heisman Trophy consideration. His rushing numbers this season include 1,800 yards and 13 TDs.

The Buckeyes front seven has not played great this season yet offers awesome next-level potential.

Sam Hubbard is still up in the air about where he’ll be playing next season but projects as a top-half-of-Round-1 selection and should quickly break into a starting lineup on Sundays. Dre’Mont Jones has been even more inconsistent this season, but when he’s on his game he’s unstoppable. Jayln Holmes is one of the most underrated players on the Buckeyes defensive line and can play in either one- or two-gap schemes. Tyquan Lewis has terrific size and speed numbers for a defensive end in a four-man line and has been a productive player three years running.

The Buckeyes offer terrific talent at linebacker as well.

Even though Jerome Baker has had an up-and-down season, I think he projects well to the next level. He’s a three-down defender who does a great job making plays in space and reminds me of former Buckeye and first-round pick Darron Lee in many ways. Chris Worley is a nasty linebacker in the middle of the field with a great head for the ball.

Wisconsin blocker Beau Benzschawel has received a lot of love in the scouting community and could slide into the second day of the draft if he opts to go pro. He’s large, powerful and explosive but has his work cut out for him against Ohio State.
