There was a large crowd on hand at Central Michigan to see two highly regarded cornerbacks, and they did not disappoint.

Defensive backs coaches from the Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Chargers, New England Patriots, New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, Oakland Raiders and Tampa Bay Bucs were all on hand to watch Sean Bunting and Xavier Crawford.

Bunting is presently the hottest name at the cornerback position and is swiftly moving up draft boards. Over the past two days, he individually met with all the teams mentioned above. Bunting stood on his 40 time of 4.42 from the combine but ran the three-cone in a time of 6.85 seconds and the short shuttle in 4.11 seconds.

Expect Bunting to be selected in the top half of Round 2.

Crawford’s official 40 time was 4.40 seconds, though some stopwatches had him as fast as 4.36 seconds. This represents a one-tenth improvement from his combine mark.

Crawford had one-on-ones with the New England Patriots, Oakland Raiders, New York Giants and Chicago Bears.
