I’m still getting numbers on the Iowa pro day, but it looks like cornerback Josh Jackson is the big winner.

The first round prospect improved his 40 time from the combine by a full tenth of a second or more. I’m told most watches had him in the mid-to-low 4.4s, with some timing him as fast as 4.42, a marked improvement from his combine number of 4.56. Jackson also touched 40 inches in the vertical jump and reached 10-foot-3 in the broad jump.

Jackson met with the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

Center James Daniels, who projects as a second-day choice, has a lingering hamstring issue and only participated in position drills. Daniels did not run the 40 at the combine, and I’m told he will not run the 40 before the draft.

He’s receiving a lot of interest from the Tampa Bay Bucs, Philadelphia Eagles and Tennessee Titans.

Linebacker Bo Bower, who we grade just outside of draftable range, did position drills for the teams on hand and was taken aside by the New England Patriots, who put him through team-specific drills.
