Bio:
Two-year starter who led Colorado in rushing in each of his final three seasons with the Buffaloes. Named Honorable Mention All-Pac-12 and led the conference with 301 carries, rushing for 1,474 yards and 14 touchdowns while catching 23 passes for 257 yards and one score in 2017. Earned Second Team All-Pac-12 honors and led the conference with 16 rushing touchdowns as a junior, carrying 244 times for 1,252 yards and making 53 receptions for 493 yards. Started six games in 2015 and carried 140 times for 653 yards and six TDs while making 26 catches for 211 yards and one score. Rushed for 391 yards on 79 carries as a true freshman.
Pos:
Undersized and underrated ball carrier with game-breaking ability. Quick-footed, runs low to the ground and sets defenders up and makes them miss. Displays outstanding vision and instincts and works runs. Will pick and choose his spots on the inside, strings several moves together over the course of a single run and displays burst through the small openings. Possesses the speed and agility to turn the corner. Effectively follows blocks everywhere on the field and runs hard. Terrific pass catcher out of the backfield, extends his hands and makes receptions away from his frame. Gives effort as a blocker and gets the most from his ability.
Neg:
Lacks size and running strength and easily gets taken down at the point by a single defender. Gives effort as an inside runner but will struggle between the tackles at the next level.
Analysis:
Lindsay is an explosive ball carrier who can score from any point on the field as a runner and as a pass catcher. He also offers potential as a return specialist and is a solid late-round pick who should go on to be a productive third-down back and situational runner.
