Four-year starter who was named First Team All-Pac-12 for the second time in 2016, setting career highs with 33 receptions for 426 yards. Missed the 2015 season and the final five games in 2014 with a severe knee injury that almost required amputation. Caught 25 passes for 420 yards and six scores in his shortened 2014, earning First Team All-Pac-12. Made 12 catches for 165 yards and two touchdowns in his first two seasons with the Ducks. Has been accused of physical violence three times since 2014, once involving his girlfriend and twice involving teammates.
Athletic tight end prospect who made a great comeback from a devastating knee injury last season. Bends his knees, blocks with proper pad level and plays with excellent fundamentals. Strong at the point, works blocks and turns defenders from the action. Fluid releasing off the line into pass routes, snatches the pass away from his frame then carries defenders for yardage running after the reception. Plays with a nasty attitude.
Average strength. Not a true downfield receiving threat. Prior knee injury as well as off-the-field issues must be checked out. Double-catches too many throws.
Brown was a highly rated prospect prior to his devastating knee injury in November 2014, but he made a strong comeback last year. He offers next-level size and has enough pass-catching ability to make a roster but has shown a lot of inconsistencies and is a medical red flag.
