Two-year starter who missed most of his final two seasons due to season-ending knee injuries. Finished second on the team with 75 tackles (3.5 for loss) in 2014 and posted 32 tackles (2.5 for loss) as a redshirt freshman in 2013. Granted medical redshirt in 2012 due to a season-ending knee injury.
One-time highly rated linebacker that struggled with injuries the past two seasons. Athletic, quick and a terrific run defender. Quickly locates the ball handler, firing up the field or flowing well laterally to the action. Stacks well against the run, wraps up tackling and is strong at the point. Breaks down well using his hands to protect himself, gets depth on pass drops and flashes ability in space. Secure open-field tackler. Effectively makes the defensive calls and gets his teammates in proper position.
Does not show great lateral speed in pursuit. Multiple season-ending injuries are a major concern.
Wartman-White was highly rated entering the season despite playing in just one game as a junior in 2015. Injuries again reared their ugly head and he now moves towards the draft as a medical risk.
