Bio:
Four-year starter who earned First Team D-III All-America honors and made 51 tackles (16.5 for loss) with 10 sacks in 2017. Named Second Team All-NJAC and posted 55 tackles (17.5 for loss) and nine sacks as a junior. Combined to make 44 tackles (5.5 for loss) with four sacks in 2014 and 2015.
Pos:
Compactly built defensive tackle with an explosive style. Plays with proper pad level, fires off the snap and consistently gets leverage on opponents. Strong in his lower body, focused on by opponents in the middle of the line and impossible to move off the point. Rarely off his feet, displays good change of direction and moves well laterally.
Neg:
Must develop more moves with his hands. Easily tied up by a single blocker.
Analysis:
Scott was dominant on the small-school level and has the size, quickness and movement skills to get consideration as a three-technique tackle at the next level.
