Bio:
Four-year starter who earned First Team All-GLIAC as both a sophomore and a senior. Was voted GLIAC Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2016. Also received All-America honors from D2Football.com, Don Hansen and the AFCA. Played in 42 of the 43 games he dressed for in his career.
Pos:
Outstanding small-school left tackle who projects as a right tackle or guard in the NFL. Fires off the snap, showing explosion and strength at the point. Sets with a wide base, works blocks and gets movement. Keeps his head on a swivel, quickly picks up the blitz and shows the ability to knock defenders from their angles of attack. Correctly places his hands into opponents, stays square and seals defenders from the action. Patient in pass protection, makes excellent use of angles and was a dominant force on the small-school level.
Neg:
Does not move all that well on his feet or show a lot of ability blocking in motion. Must do a better job bending his knees and playing with leverage.
Analysis:
Theaker offers the size and mentality to play on Sundays yet is a prospect who must improve his fundamentals to make an active roster.
