Bio:
Three-year starter who led the OVC with 14 pass breakups and made 32 tackles (five for loss) with one interception and two sacks as a senior. Recorded 40 tackles (three for loss) with one interception, two sacks and six pass breakups despite missing four games due to injury in 2016. Earned Second Team All-OVC honors and tied for the conference lead with five interceptions while leading Southeast Missouri with seven pass breakups and posting 42 tackles as a sophomore.
Pos:
Underrated cornerback with a lot of next-level traits. Plays heads-up football, hustles around the field and gives effort to make plays. Locates the ball in the air, fires to the pass out of his plant and works hard to defend throws. Well-built and physical but stays with assignments.
Neg:
Late out of his transition and usually a half-step behind opponents off the line of scrimmage. Deep speed is a concern.
Analysis:
Hall was a terrific small-school cornerback who got the most from his ability and rarely made mental errors. While his deep speed is a concern, he offers possibilities in dime packages as a zone corner or in press coverage.
