Bio:
Two-year starter who moved to left tackle as a senior after starting 10 games at right tackle as a junior. Missed the final two games of the 2015 season with a high-ankle sprain. Saw playing time at tight end as a redshirt freshman in 2013.
Pos:
Tall, hard-working college left tackle with potential on the right side. Sets with a wide base, works to bend his knees and keeps his feet moving. Quick off the snap, explosive at the point and displays above-average blocking range. Makes excellent use of angles and body positioning and seals defenders from the play with his frame. Has excellent length and growth potential.
Neg:
Must improve the strength of his base. Stiff and gets beaten by inside moves.
Analysis:
Zandi is a size prospect with underrated athleticism and a good amount of upside potential. He’s worth stashing on a practice squad for future development and should only improve as he gets bigger and stronger.
