Bio:
Reserve receiver who played less than half of UNC’s snaps every season of his career. Made 16 receptions for 309 yards and four touchdowns in seven games as a senior before collarbone surgery ended his season. Named Third Team All-ACC in 2015 with 30 receptions for a team-high 745 yards and eight touchdowns, leading the nation with an average of 24.8 yards per reception. Earned Honorable Mention All-ACC as a sophomore in 2014 after making 35 receptions for 613 yards and eight scores.
Pos:
Underrated pass catcher with size and upside for the next level. Works to make himself an available target, comes back to the ball and uses his frame to shield away defenders. Easily adjusts to the errant throw, nicely makes the over the shoulder reception and remains focused, looking the ball into his hands. Takes a big hit yet holds onto the throw. Plays strong football winning out in battles and gets results as a downfield blocker. Possesses strong and soft hands with the ability to pull the errant throw from the air.
Neg:
Lacks a quick release off the line of scrimmage. One speed receiver and does not possess the 2nd gear or deep burst. Coming off injury.
Analysis:
Hollins is an underrated prospect with the physical skill and football ability to develop into a 2nd wideout on Sunday if he remains healthy.
