Pos:
Nice-sized ball carrier who has been hampered by injuries the past two years. Strong, keeps his feet moving and breaks tackles to pick up yardage off initial contact. Falls forward when tackled, works runs and tries to get as much from every carry as possible. Patient, waits for blocks to develop and effectively follows them everywhere on the field. Gets a lot of momentum going, which makes him tough to bring down. Outstanding vision and instincts. Solid short-area quickness with the ability to cut back against the grain.
Neg:
Lacks true speed and agility to turn the perimeter. Not a creative ball carrier. Struggled with injuries and barely saw the field in 2018.
Analysis:
As a sophomore in 2016, Scott showed the makings of a feature runner at the next level but has been beset by injuries ever since. He's a third-round talent who will fall into the last day of the draft, but if he shows durability at the next level, Scott could be a steal this April.
