Pos:
Small, shifty back with the ability to create yardage. Quick-footed, bounces around piles and defenders and shows burst through running lanes. Strings multiple moves together over the course of a run and quickly cuts back against the grain without losing momentum. Displays the speed and agility necessary to turn the corner. Effectively follows blocks everywhere on the field. Solid pass catcher out of the backfield.
Neg:
Lacks size. Easily brought down by the first defender. One-speed back who cannot run to daylight.
Analysis:
Rose is a multipurpose ball carrier who is effective in space. His ability to make defenders miss in the open field and catch the ball sets him up as a potential third-down back at the next level.
