Pos:
Undersized college pass rusher who comes off a disappointing senior campaign. Plays with excellent leverage and balance and fights hard. Fluid when asked to twist or stunt, fires off the snap with a quick first step and possesses an explosive closing burst. Breaks down well, plays with proper pad level and displays solid lateral movement skills. Can bend off the edge and change direction and quickly gets outside the box to defend the run. Occasionally stood over tackle for the Aggies and was relatively fluid from that spot. Remains disciplined with assignments and chases the action hard.
Neg:
Struggles to get off blocks and gets handled at the point. Marginal skills in coverage when dropped off the line. Really watched his play drop off last season.
Analysis:
Durham was graded by scouts as a potential top-45 selection entering the season, but in the end he did not even receive a combine invitation. He possesses the size and style to stand over tackle in a 3-4 alignment and will be a last-day draft pick used as a situational pass rusher on Sundays.
