Bio:
First-year starter at left tackle who earned Second Team All-Pac-12 honors as a junior. Started five games at right tackle in 2016 before suffering a season-ending foot injury. Started five games at tackle as a redshirt freshman.
Pos:
Long, athletic tackle prospect with tremendous upside. Quickly sets up off the snap, stays square and fights with his hands throughout the action. Strong, easily controls defenders once engaged at the point and plays big football. Explosive, uses terrific positioning to seal opponents from the action and blocks down on defenders to completely take them from the play. Plays with a nasty attitude, works to get a pad on defenders and fights throughout the action.
Neg:
Must bend his knees more often throughout the action. Stiff and struggles to adjust. Bends at the waist and lacks balance.
Analysis:
Miller is an impressive physical specimen who plays to his size and works through the whistle. He performed well as a junior and turned in a terrific combine workout but may be a year away from starting in the NFL.
