Bio:
Two-year starter at TCU who transferred from Texas A&M after the 2014 season. Completed 67.3 percent of his passes for 3,152 yards, 23 touchdowns and eight interceptions and added 325 yards and five scores on the ground in 2017. Posted a 61.1 percent completion rate and 3,208 passing yards with 17 touchdowns and 13 interceptions while rushing for 609 yards and 10 scores as a junior. Sat out the 2015 season after transferring. Started eight games as a sophomore for the Aggies and completed 66.7 percent of his passes for 2,649 yards, 23 touchdowns and eight INTs.
Pos:
Smallish quarterback with average next-level accuracy. Quickly sets up in the pocket, displays timing on throws and puts excellent speed on short and intermediate passes. Elusive, gets outside the pocket to avoid the rush and shows the ability to pick up yardage with his legs. Does not make poor decisions.
Neg:
Releases the ball off his back foot and does not consistently follow through. Tends to stare down his primary target. Must improve his pass placement.
Analysis:
Hill is a dual-threat quarterback who was perfect for the TCU offense but will struggle to make the transition to the NFL.
