Four-year starter who had his senior season cut short after six games due to a season-ending foot injury and rushed for 636 yards and four touchdowns on 124 carries. Earned Consensus First Team FCS All-America honors in 2015 after leading FCS with 2,092 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns and becoming the school’s all-time leader in rushing yards, all-purpose yards and scoring. Rushed for 740 yards and 11 touchdowns on 154 carries as a sophomore. Earned Southland Freshman of the Year honors in 2013 after setting a school freshman rushing record with 880 yards on 180 carries and scoring eight touchdowns.
Small but creative ball carrier who gets the most from his ability. Quick-footed, avoids defenders and strings several moves together over the course of a single run. Sees the field, has a burst through the hole and runs behind his pads. Gets lost behind lineman and shows terrific vision and instincts.
Easily brought down at the point by the first defender and doesn’t pick up much yardage off initial contact. Cut blocker that cannot take defenders out.
Harrington was a solid ball carrier on the small-school level but lacks the size and speed to play Sunday football.
