Bio:
Full-time starter as a senior after making 15 starts over his first three seasons. Earned Third Team All-Big Ten honors in each of his final two seasons with the Spartans. Made at least three starts and caught at least four touchdown passes during all four years at Michigan State, making 104 career receptions for 1,238 yards and 21 touchdowns.
Pos:
Consistent college player best as a move tight end. Solid pass catcher who consistently extends his hands and makes receptions away from his frame. Runs well, easily makes receptions in stride and comes away with difficult catches in contorted positions. Reliable, uses his frame to shield defenders and pulls the ball from the air. Blocks with solid fundamentals, bending his knees, correctly placing his hands into opponents and giving effort. Rough, nasty and plays to the whistle.
Neg:
Possesses average blocking strength. Minimal production on the college level.
Analysis:
Price possesses the physical skills and football ability to lineup as a No. 2 tight end in the NFL if he pulls his game together.
