Bio:
First-year starter who was named Honorable Mention All-Pac-12 and led the Pac-12 with 1,264 receiving yards on 69 receptions while scoring nine touchdowns in 2017. Led UCLA with five receiving touchdowns and made 41 catches for 620 yards as a sophomore.
Pos:
Consistent receiver who displays big-play ability. Sells routes, comes back to the ball and effectively uses the sideline. Displays outstanding hand-eye coordination, consistently makes receptions away from his frame and works to pick up yardage after the catch. Uses his frame to shield away defenders and protect the pass. Displays soft and strong hands with the ability to snatch passes from the air. Fights with his hands to separate from defenders, tracks the pass in the air and nicely makes deep receptions in stride.
Neg:
Lacks a true second gear and deep burst. Does not have a big body of work. Will struggle with press coverage at the next level.
Analysis:
Lasley is a developing receiver with good upside who plays much faster than his 40 time. He offers possibilities as a third wideout and return specialist but must continue to progress on the field.
