Bio:
Three-year starter who led Troy in rushing in 2016 and 2017. Earned Second Team All-Sun Belt honors and carried 154 times for 774 yards and 10 touchdowns while catching 28 passes for 204 yards as a senior. Named First Team All-Sun Belt and rushed 279 times for 1,288 yards and 16 touchdowns while making 30 receptions for 228 yards as a junior. Received a medical redshirt in 2015 after breaking his collarbone during the second game of the season. Led the team with six rushing TDs and carried 111 times for 505 yards in 2014. Rushed for 514 yards and 14 touchdowns on 128 carries as a true freshman and recorded 21 catches for 104 yards.
Pos:
Big-bodied ball carrier best running downhill. Runs with an aggressive style, gets a lot of momentum going and is rarely brought down by a single defender. Breaks tackles to pick up a lot of yardage off initial contact, carries defenders for extra yardage and falls forward when tackled. Does a nice job following blocks everywhere on the field. Solid receiver out of the backfield who adjusts to errant throws and makes receptions with his hands.
Neg:
Displays average speed and quickness. Lacks the ability to turn the corner.
Analysis:
Chunn turned in some tremendous performances during his senior campaign and is a big-bodied, short-yardage ball carrier who can also catch the ball out of the backfield or be used as a blocker.
