Explosive small-school defensive lineman with tremendous upside potential. Plays with outstanding pad level, quickly gets his hands up and shows the ability to bend the edge. Powerful, knocks back blockers with terrific hand punch and drives them off the line. Stays with assignments, chases the action and moves well laterally.

Franklin possesses next-level size and athleticism and comes with big upside potential. He offers possibilities as a two-gap end and could eventually grow into a defensive tackle if he continues to progress on the field.
