Bio:
Two-year starter who caught 41 passes for 698 yards and four touchdowns as a senior. Finished second in the nation with 24.2 yards per reception in 2016, made 36 receptions for 870 yards and led the ACC with 10 touchdown catches.
Pos:
Consistent possession receiver with dependable hands. Sells routes, comes back to the ball and extends his hands to snatch passes away from his frame. Does a good job coming across the field to make himself an available target, tracks the pass in the air and adjusts and contorts to grab errant throws. Knows where he is on the field, displays a sense of timing and exposes himself in order to come away with difficult catches. Displays focus and concentration and gives effort blocking.
Neg:
Possesses limited quickness. More of a one-speed receiver who lacks burst. Average production.
Analysis:
Weah is a nice-sized receiver with reliable hands and a solid game, but he has speed and quickness limitations. He plays smart, tough football and would be an asset as a fifth receiver.
