Bio:
Four-year starter who earned First Team All-OVC in 2016 and Second Team All-OVC in 2015. Received First Team AP FCS All-America, First Team HERO Sports FCS All-America and First Team Athlon Sports FCS All-America honors as a senior and earned an invite to the Senior Bowl.
Pos:
Explosive college tackle who projects to guard in the NFL. Bends his knees, starts low to the ground and sets with a wide base. Blocks with terrific pad level, fires off the snap and shows a large degree of quickness in his game. Keeps his feet moving, shows good lateral blocking range off the edge and stays square. Can slide in space, quickly gets out to the second level and jolts opponents with terrific hand punch. Adjusts to oncoming defenders then knocks them from their angle of attack. Moves well on his feet and can hit a moving target.
Neg:
Haphazard in his movements and lacks overall blocking balance. On the ground too much. Displays a degree of stiffness in his game. Struggled during Senior Bowl practices.
Analysis:
Dunker looks the part, occasionally plays to it and has a large degree of upside potential. He needs to improve his strength as well as his blocking balance but offers the possibility to line up at several spots on the offensive line, which makes him attractive in the late rounds.
