Bio:
Junior college transfer who was a two-year starter with the Razorbacks. Made 49 tackles (7.5 for loss) in 2016 with 5.5 sacks and two pass breakups. Posted 55 tackles (7.5 for loss) and two sacks as a junior in 2015.
Pos:
Underrated defensive line prospect with a large degree of versatility in his game. Athletic and displays good change of direction and solid lateral movement skills. Fluid getting down the line of scrimmage and easily gets to the flanks in backside pursuit. Plays with speed and outstanding pad level and consistently gets leverage on opponents. Effectively uses his hands to protect himself, quickly sheds blockers and makes plays on the ball handler. Plays with a rough-and-tumble style, keeps his feet moving on contact and shows explosiveness. Gives terrific effort hustling around the field to make plays.
Neg:
Struggles getting off blocks once engaged at the point. Lacks great bulk for an interior lineman.
Analysis:
Despite a productive junior season, Ledbetter was ignored by scouts entering his senior campaign but again turned in a terrific year. He’s a developing lineman with a nice amount of upside potential and a prospect who could play the three-technique spot or even line up as a two-gap end.
