Bio:
First-year starter who earned First Team All-SEC honors and led Auburn with 13 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, four forced fumbles and 22 hurries while making 45 tackles as a junior. Combined to post 26 tackles (5.5 for loss), three sacks and one forced fumble in his first two seasons with the Tigers.
Pos:
Forceful pass rusher with limited upside for the next level. Quick, explosive and fast off the edge. Shows good change of direction, possesses a solid closing burst and moves well about the field. Keeps his feet moving and occasionally shows the ability to push blockers off the ball. Effective as a pass rusher standing over tackle. Does an admirable job when he drops off the line of scrimmage and plays in space.
Neg:
Slow to locate the ball and marginally instinctive. Often seems more concerned with rushing the passer than making the play. Average long speed and ineffective in pursuit.
Analysis:
Holland did a good job rushing the passer for Auburn last year but has size and speed limitations. He’s a nickel rusher who fits best in a 3-4 alignment.
