Bio:
Two-year starter at Kentucky who joined Oklahoma as a graduate transfer and caught 26 passes for 400 yards and three touchdowns in 2017. Led Kentucky with 670 receiving yards on 31 receptions and caught four TDs as a junior. Made 29 catches for 430 yards and two scores as a sophomore. Redshirted in 2014 after suffering a preseason eye injury. Started five games as a true freshman and posted 22 receptions for 285 yards and one TD.
Pos:
Somewhat-productive pass catcher whose primary responsibility at the next level will be returning punts. Tracks the pass in the air, displays solid hand-eye coordination and nicely adjusts to errant throws. Makes deep catches in stride, displays himself as a dangerous open-field runner and works to pick up positive yardage. Gets vertical and contorts to make difficult receptions. Quick-footed with the ability to pick up yardage whenever the ball is in his hands.
Neg:
Has limited size and speed. Pass-catching numbers were nothing more than ordinary.
Analysis:
Badet is a solid pass catcher with next-level athleticism and quickness. He offers possibilities as a slot receiver, but the ability to return punts will dictate his future.
