Slightly underrated defensive line prospect who could surprise at the next level. Strong, fires off the snap with a quick first step and displays a solid closing burst. Effectively uses his hands to protect himself or get off blocks, plays with intensity and keeps coming. Relatively agile with the ability to redirect to the action. Occasionally stands up over tackle and shows the ability to neutralize blockers.
Average speed off the edge. Struggles getting off blocks once engaged at the point.
Jefferson offers solid size as well as growth potential with an opportunity to develop into a two-gap end.
