First-year starter who broke out as a senior, earning Second Team All-Big Ten after tying for second in the conference with 10 sacks and making 22 tackles (12 for loss). Missed the entire 2012 season with a shoulder injury that required surgery. Posted 13.5 sacks over his first three seasons as a part-time pass rusher.
Solid college pass rusher with poor size/speed numbers for the next level. Plays with excellent pad level, gives effort and holds his ground against blocks. Keeps his feet and hands active throughout the action, easily redirects to plays and shows a good degree of quickness in his game. Explosive, plays through the whistle and gives effort.
Average athlete. Ineffective pursuing the action. Easily tied up by blocks. Used more as a rotational player at Northwestern rather than a consistent starter.
Odenigbo showed the ability to consistently make plays behind the line scrimmage the past two seasons and is worth bringing into camp as a designated pass rusher.
