Bio:
First-year starter who transferred from Northwestern and earned First Team All-PSAC West honors while playing in six games before suffering a season-ending injury. Didn’t play for the Wildcats in 2016 after suffering a season-ending injury in training camp. Started eight games at center as a junior. Played off the bench at guard in 2014. Started eight games at right guard as a redshirt freshman.
Pos:
Explosive zone-blocking prospect who plays with a nasty attitude. Fires off the snap, quickly moves to the second level and squares into linebackers to remove them from the action. Works blocks hard, displays outstanding vision and takes out multiple defenders on a single snap. Relatively effective if asked to pull across the line of scrimmage and plays through the whistle. Keeps his feet moving, keeps his head on a swivel and anchors in pass protection.
Neg:
Average next-level size. Lacks great footwork in space.
Analysis:
Park is a relatively athletic offensive lineman with adequate size and growth potential. He needs to improve his strength at the point of attack but is worth stashing on a practice squad for future development.
