Bio:
Two-year starter at right tackle who didn’t play football until his junior season. Earned an invitation to the East-West Shrine Game in 2017. Played basketball all four years at Wagner.
Pos:
Athletic left tackle prospect with tremendous upside. Agile, explosive at the point and blocks with terrific fundamentals. Fires off the snap into blocks and moves well on his feet. Shows the ability to slide off the edge, get out to the second level and remove linebackers. Keeps his feet moving in pass protection, easily handles speed rushers and consistently blocks with leverage. Gets a shoulder pad on defenders to knock them from their angles of attack and has excellent length and growth potential.
Neg:
Has a lanky, thin frame and lacks natural power. Tends to fall off blocks rather than finish them.
Analysis:
Senat is an athletic offensive tackle prospect who showed consistent improvement and looked like he belonged with the big boys during Shrine Game practices but will need time to physically mature and add bulk to his frame. Senat may eventually be kicked inside to guard, but he has starting potential in a year or two.
