Two-year starter named First Team All-ACC as both a junior and a senior. Limited to six games the previous three seasons due to season-ending chest muscle, back and pectoral injuries. Ranked second in the nation with 23 tackles for loss in 2016 and tied for fifth with 13 sacks. Finished third in the ACC with 11.5 sacks in 2015 and fourth with 19.5 tackles for loss. Started five games at linebacker as a true freshman, making 27 tackles (6.5 for loss) with four sacks.
Tough, productive college defensive end who made a lot of plays behind the line of scrimmage. Fires off the snap, effectively uses his hands and quickly changes direction. Breaks down well and shows speed off the edge and moving in every direction. Built low to the ground, plays with great leverage and makes plays in space.
Average instincts and loses the ball. Cannot get off blocks once engaged at the point and is easily taken from the play. Short and lacks linebacker height.
Price gets the most from his ability and was tough to stop on the college level, but he lacks any real position in the NFL. He offers possibilities as a designated pass rusher or backup linebacker and comes with a special-teams mentality.
