Bio:
Three-year starter who earned First Team All-Big Ten honors and led the conference with 1,033 receiving yards and a Maryland single-season record 80 receptions as a junior, catching eight touchdowns. Made 41 receptions and led the team with 637 receiving yards and six TDs in 2016. Started 10 games and caught 25 passes for 357 yards and three scores as a true freshman.
Pos:
Productive receiver coming off a career campaign. Shows tremendous quickness, works his hands to separate from defenders and comes back to the quarterback to make himself an available target. Adjusts to errant throws and catches the ball in stride. Does a nice job making receptions on crossing patterns and effortlessly tracks the pass in the air. Fires into pass routes, displays a sense of timing and is the “go-to receiver” opponents struggle to stop.
Neg:
Unnecessarily lets passes get inside him at times and doesn’t always catch the ball cleanly. Struggles to come away with difficult catches and does not always win out in battles the way he should. Rough around the edges and must learn to play to his forty time.
Analysis:
Moore was very productive for Maryland and has enough pass-catching skill to be a third wideout early in his NFL career then develop into a number two with proper coaching and development.
