Bio:
First-year starter who was named First Team All-Big 12 and caught 26 passes for 464 yards and five touchdowns while rushing 14 times for 22 yards and four scores in 2017 to earn an invitation to the Senior Bowl. Earned Second Team All-Big 12 honors and made 11 receptions for 200 yards and four TDs in 2016. Named Honorable Mention All-Big 12 and recorded eight catches for 130 yards and four scores as a sophomore.
Pos:
Productive lead blocker who is much more athletic than his size and speed numbers would dictate. Displays vision, plays with a nasty attitude and works to get a pad on defenders to disrupt them from their angles of attack. Solid short-yardage runner with the ability to break tackles. Effective pass catcher who adjusts and extends to make receptions away from his frame. Presents himself as a legitimate intermediate pass-catching threat despite his 40 time.
Neg:
Must pick up his blocking intensity. Average quickness.
Analysis:
Flowers was a solid three-way fullback for Oklahoma who was effective as a blocker, ball carrier and pass catcher. He’s best suited as a fullback in a west coast offense.
